Who We Are
Correct Care Solutions understands the critical importance of providing quality mental health services in correctional settings, and we pride ourselves on our ability to seamlessly implement our services into virtually any treatment environment. Correct Care Solutions partners with correctional entities to place licensed mental health professionals in their facilities, to ensure that the detainees housed there have access to comprehensive mental health services.
Correct Care Solutions currently partners with ten correctional facilities in four states (Louisiana, Texas, Arizona, and Georgia) to staff a range of mental health professionals to those facilities, including psychiatrists, psychologists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, licensed professional counselors, and licensed clinical social workers. Our teams operate within facilities at the county, state, and regional levels, as well as with US Marshalls and ICE-Dedicated facilities.
What We Prioritize
Our treatment teams prioritize providing care with unconditional positive regard, reducing stigma surrounding mental health, and approaching each patient with compassion and a trauma-informed perspective. With a focus on evidence-based practices and a devotion to quality care, our teams deliver comprehensive mental health treatment that is tailored to meet our partners’ needs.
Our licensed counselors and social workers offer an array of intervention strategies to address a number of mental health challenges commonly found in corrections settings, such as anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, sleep hygiene, risk assessments, grief, and anger management, to name a few. Additionally, our psychiatric prescribers work in concert with our counseling staff to provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management to manage psychiatric issues efficiently and effectively.
How We Collaborate
Our treatment teams work collaboratively with medical and security staff at each facility to ensure that the detainees housed there receive consistent, reliable access to quality mental health services, and our leadership ensures that our treatment services are informed and guided by the latest developments in industry standards of care for this population. Our Correct Care Solutions division has consistently received favorable audit outcomes from oversight entities such as ICE Health Service Corps (IHSC), the Office of Detention Oversight (ODO), the Office for Civil Rights and Civil Liberties (CRCL), the National Commission on Correctional Health Care (NCCHC), and The Nakamoto Group.
Family Solutions has also played a central role in collaborating with the facilities we work with to develop mental health policy, protocols, and documentation practices that are in full compliance with the treatment standards required by these oversight entities, as well as to be in compliance with both the Performance-Based National Detention Standards and National Detention Standards.
